Griddle Review

I cannot make a pancake in a pan to save my life in a regular, circular fry pan…so a griddle is a fabulous addition (and a needed addition) to my kitchen! I even take it camping with me! 

Crockpot Review

I’m not going to lie I think I would literally die without my slow cooker. 

I haven’t had a ton of experience with a bunch of different brands, but from the few I have tried, this is my favorite – Hamilton Beach Forget and Set!

Chop Wizard Review

How many of you hate chopping vegetables but love to make yummy salsa’s and salads? If you raised your hand, I am right there with you! My fabulous mother-in-law let me use her Vidalia Chop Wizard (seen below) and I fell in love. You can find them at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for under $20 and of course, they always have coupons, so be sure to take advantage of the discount!

Where do I start?!

This blog began as a diary of my experiences as an almost newly married fiance trying to teach herself how to create splendidly scrumptious treats and other charming delicacies and creations. I am now a happy wife and working professional stuck in an aimless action-plan of work tasks, fun crafts, and yummy recipes… with a family as crazy as yours and a love-hate relationship with my skinny jeans.

I don't claim to be the most interesting person alive, or the least for that matter; but what I can offer you is honest perspective on failure, success, and the awkward space in between learning to be both a good wife and driven professional while both maintaining and learning new hobbies. The Newlyweds!

My husband and I have a child on the way (our first) and I  have two very important kiddos in my life: my precious niece and my darling cousin/god child. I love the little squirts  more than words and have loved spoiling them over the last several years.
